Prerequisites 

  1. You must be Zoho CRM's super admin.
  2. Zoho CRM Standard Edition or higher is required.
  3. You need to create a account in QuickEmailVerification
  4. Create a API Key in QuickEmailVerification
  5. It will retrieve the Email field from the Lead , Contact and Vendor Modules

2. Getting Started

2.1 Create Account in QuickEmailVerification 

Follow these steps to Create an Account :

  1. Go to the https://quickemailverification.com/register 

  2. Enter necessary information and click to "create my account" button.



  3. Navigate to "API Settings" in the left sidebar, then generate an API key and proceed to copy it.

  4. Enter the API Key during the extension installation process.



2.2 Installation

Follow these steps to install the Email Verification Extension:

  1. Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
  2. Navigate to the Extension Marketplace.
  3. Search for "Email Verification for Zoho CRM" and select the appropriate extension.
  4. When you click "Install," you'll be prompted to enter the API Key generated from QuickEmailVerification into the designated field.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions. 

3. Features  

3.1 Email Validation  

Validate Email id to ensure they meet the specified format and are valid for use.

4. Applicable Modules

The Email Verification Extension supports the following Zoho CRM modules:

  • Leads: Validate Email id information for leads.

  • Vendors: Verify Email id for vendor records.

  • Contacts: Verify Email id for Contact records.

5. Step By Step Guide 

          Email Verification for Individual Record

  • Enter the Email id in your record and save.

  • Click the button "Verify Email" and it will open a popup window that shows the status of the email.



    Correct Email

  • If the email ID is correct, the popup will display the status as "verified".




  1. The email status in your record will be updated to "verified".


    Incorrect Email
  1. If the email ID is incorrect, the popup will display the status as "not verified".



  2. The email status in your record will be updated to "invalid".



    Email Verification for Bulk Record

  3. Select Records: 

    1. Select up to 10 records from the module.
    2. Click the "Verify Email" button.



  4. Verification Process:
    1. Only records that are not verified will be updated.
    2. Records that are already verified or invalid will not trigger API calls.



  5. Note: Selecting more than 10 records will result in a system error.
  6. Note: The API has a daily limit of 100 calls.
